Film News - "The Dark Knight Rises" And So Does His Villains

Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan (Director of "The Dark Knight Rises") have announced today that Anne Hathaway & Tom Hardy have been cast in Nolan's third and final entry in his Batman Trilogy. Hathaway is set to play Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Although it should be noted that the press release did not state if Hathaway would in fact be playing Kyle's alter ego of Catwoman) and Hardy as Bane. Hardy has recently worked with Batman director Nolan in the blockbuster film of 2010 "Inception"and Nolan is happy to work with him again stating "I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring life to our new interpretation of one of Batman's most formidable enemies." No official synopsis has been released as of yet and "The Dark Knight Rises" is slated for release on July 20th, 2012.
